Jean-Paul Herzog

More than 40-year experience in Hotel Business and Management, 18 year experience in the leading international hotel management company Hilton in Europe, Middle East and Africa. From 2000 to 2005 Vice President and later on President of Hilton International, but from 2007 to 2011 President of Hilton Worldwide. Expert in the Hospitality industry in operations, strategy, business management and business development.

 

Jānis Jenzis

Active in the Hospitality industry for over 21 years. Beginning his career in restaurants of Andrejs Zagars, later on managing and leading the well-known hotels "Radi un draugi", "Hotel de Rome", "Europa Royale Riga" for 9 years. For 4 years he has been the President of Latvian Hotels and Restaurants Association. He has created and opened "Ostas skati", a democratic restaurant, after that have followed the wine bar "Garage", the restaurant "Kitchen", the restaurant "Experience cafe", the "Biržas nama kafejnīca", the restaurant "Bourse" and even a restaurant in Italy "Kitchen Italy".

 

Randy Boden

Belgian mixologist with amazing knowledge and skills in the cocktail world. Co-founder of On the Rocks in Belgium, doing beverage catering, pop-up bars, creating new bar concepts and developing ideas in the gastronomy world. He has participated in many projects including in Latvia on building new concepts for cocktail catering as well as organizing workshops.

 

Agita Kausa

Used to manage and lead the hotel and restaurant "Villa Joma".  She has worked in the board of the Latvian Hotels and Restaurants Association, as well as developed and taught programs for people working in the Hospitality field at the RRC college. Actively participating in the education of young Hospitality professionals, she has also brought up some strong Latvian chefs.

 

Asnāte Ziemele

Specialist in Tourism and Hospitality. In 1993 founded the association " Lauku ceļotājs" for the development of rural tourism in Latvia and created an evaluation and qualification system for rural tourism establishments in Latvia. She has made educational programs and materials for courses, and is the author of many national rural tourism development projects. Has worked as an expert abroad and has lead many projects of the EU and other foreign countries.

 

Einārs Lazdiņš

Great experience in food and beverage management and control. Has worked at Reval Hotel Latvija and Reval Hotel Ridzene as F&B controller, later on as Accounting Manager. Today he is working in SIA Dylan Distribution as a wine brand manager. His great.

 

Anete Dinne

Bachelor in Gastronomic Sciences (UniSG). Has profoundly studied such subjects as enology, food chemistry and molecular aspects of taste, production technologies, aesthetics and more to understand the holistic world of gastronomy. Has been working with Latvian Society of Cardiology for more than 4 years for many publications, conferences and books on the principles of nutrition and product production. Participates in such international Slow Food events like Salone del Gusto, SlowWine, SlowFish and Cheese.
